FIFRA 2(ee) Recommendation

A FIFRA 2(ee) recommendation has been issued for the use of Zelto to control Pythium blight in turfgrass, under the following directions:

Application Method:

Foliar (ground application) in a minimum of 65 gallons of water per acre or 1.5 gallons of water per 1,000 square feet

Product Use Rate:

1 gallon per acre (2.94 fluid ounces per 1,000 square feet)

Application Instructions:

For suppression of Pythium blight (Pythium spp.) in turfgrass apply Zelto preventively prior to disease symptoms on a 10-21-day interval. During periods of prolonged conditions favorable for disease development, apply on a 14-day schedule. For improved control, tank-mix Zelto with Select Phite 0-0-26 at the rate of 131-261 fluid ounces per acre (3-6 fluid ounces per 1.000 square feet).
